The Winner!

You probably didn't know that Nikola won Le Tour de France. We bought this outfit in Paris last spring. It is the jersey that the winner of the Tour de France wears. We also have a onsie for the best mountain climber (give us a couple more months for that one). Good thing I pulled this out yesterday, it barely fits him. He weighed in at 12 pounds 3 ounces this afternoon.
If anyone has any ideas on how to get a baby to nap, let me know. I have tried the bouncy, the swing, the car seat, the stroller (used to work, not so much anymore), a fan, and music. He could care less about a pacifier. Any ideas?

  1. The boy is so stinken' cute! I just love him. And I suppose he sits around awake all day with these looks on his face. I am so looking forward to holding him again. Hugs Nance

  2. How did you get these pictures anyways. On a ladder? Or did you prop him up against a wall. His tongue. His arms down to his sides. O my he is cute.

  3. Mary, Mary....How do you get that baby to GROW! 12+ lbs!! He is so cute I can't wait to hold him. You're going to have to schedule appointments when you get into town. We're all going to storm the place:) The art of getting a baby to sleep---'tis but a mystery my child. Time, it just takes time and perserverance, your's not his:)

  4. Yeah, they can all storm the place all they want. But when I get home Sunday at 6:00pm, he is all mine. So stand clear family. Get your time in before I arrive. NANCE!

  5. His favorite A. Susie, that's all he needs. :) Mary, he is rediculously cute and that's with out me being prejudice. He is just so darn beautiful! Counting down, I really am. Consider yourself on vacation when you all get home to GR. Love you so, love talking to you no less than 3 times a day, I find it a privilage. Love you! Oh and Mom, whatever...I have the schedule, you will have to check in with me. :)

  6. Nancy - Tom wanted me to tell you "We are not scared". Mary, Tiff is right, napping is a challenge at this age but he will, just don't give up. My Donnie still loves his nap & I so love that he still naps:) Donnie keeps saying all day long "Niko is coming". His cousins are so so excited to finally meet one of their own.. We are so out numbered now! travel safely & see you soon.
